Snug as a Bug in Rug

 

It was about 15 degrees when we headed out Sunday morning for a quick venture downtown. We were scoping out a few coffee shops for next weekend. We're looking for a place with more of an open feel for a change up. We strolled around the Grove Arcade, grabbed a breakfast sandwich on a beignet and wrapped it up with a little shopping at Coda in Citizens Vinyl. We're hoping to head back next weekend for a productive coffee shop morning at the cafe inside.

ANYWAY, this full length cable knit maxi sweater dress kept me so warm that I had to rip my coat off whenever we got inside anywhere. Toasty!!

This bad boy was on my wish list for Christmas and my sweet hubby made it happen. Full length sweater dress! Yes sir! He knows how cold I am ALL THE TIME. You can catch me typing away on my laptop wearing fingerless gloves and a toboggan at any time. I have these down slipper boots that I wear around the house along with ten million other layers. I was super excited to see just how toasty this dress kept me and let me tell you it kept me nice and warm.

Happy Friday everyone! I am off to volunteer at my son's school in the media center today. I love it because I love libraries! Fridays are the days that my son's class gets is scheduled to visit so I get to hang out with him too. Best of both worlds! 

This sweater dress was kind of an accidental purchase last year. I placed a bid for it on ebay thinking nah, I won't get it and ending up forgetting about it. Then got the email a few days later that it was mine. It was a good oops because it has been a nice cozy way to wear a dress in the cooler months.
