Influenster Pumpkin VoxBox Reveal & Review!

It's that time again!

Time for another Influenster Pumpkin Vox Box!

This is the THIRD Infuenster Vox Box I've received and I really enjoyed opening this one! You can see my first box here and my second box here.

On with the show! I made you guys a video so you could be a part of the excitement! But really, this is a video that you can get a good laugh at because I'm TERRIBLE at videos! Ha!

Anyway, here ya go! I had no idea what was inside!

Ok, so let's get down to the details. I'll let you in on how these bad boys stacked up!

Pop Chips

The Verdict: Super crispy and super tasty. Only 100 calories in this little bag. It was a great snack with low calories. I will definitely choose these again when I'm looking for a chip but don't want the heavy greasy feel.

Downy Fabric Softener

The Verdict: I liked it. I was hoping for a much bigger fragrance that was left on the clothes after I got them out of the dryer. So that was a little disappointing. I'm so used to my Scentsy laundry add in's that I'm probably a bit spoiled. As for softness, I did notice the clothes were soft. Will I buy some more? Meh. Maybe. Like I said, I love my Lavender scented Scentsy!

Goodness Knows snack bar

The Verdict: Yummy. This particular one was apple, almonds, peanuts, and dark chocolate and was 150 calories for all 4 squares. Since it doesn't have all the nasty things like high fructose corn syrup you could definitely use this as a replacement for a candy bar. I will definitely pick this up again when I have a hankering for something sweet. Which is a lot.

Mr. Sketch Scented Markers

The Verdict: Not really a fan. I didn't think it smelled like anything much less orange. The color was good. 

Werther's Soft Caramels

The Verdict: YES! So tasty. Just like you knew they were going to be. Never disappointed with Werther's! 

I picked up my free Yucatan Guac and my Alexia side item. I chose the 98% fat free french fries for my side item. I'll let you guys know how those taste!

TLC VoxBox Detailed Review

I received my TLCVoxBox a few weeks ago????? and I have tried out all of my goodies and wanted to let you know how everything worked.

Just to refresh your memory (and mine) here is what I got in my TLCVoxBox

First off, we tried out the Neo-to-Go spray for cuts and scrapes. It also has "no sting" it in. It worked very well. We didn't have a boo boo to spray it on for a few days but it didn't take long for my son to fall on some rocks at school and get a few nicks. Here is our little post we put on Instagram about it! 

Next, we broke out that bar of Ivory soap! I debated on what I wanted to do with it. There are a bunch of fun things you can do with this little guy from making your own laundry detergent to homemade shampoos to just using it as a plain ole soap! But I went with the Pinterest craze of blowing it up into soap clouds in the microwave. I was sure that would blow my little 7 year old's mind. And it did! And it was fun! I'm glad I chose that one so he could get in on the action. Here's what we did:

Unwrap it and put it in the micro on a sheet of wax paper

Zap it for about 1 minute. It will be warm/hot to the touch so be careful with little hands! Here's what it does!

My little guy wanted to keep on cooking it so I let him. It won't hurt a thing! Then, he didn't want the fun to end and I didn't want it to either. We used it in the sink for just some water play.

It pretty much dissolves back into soap. I quickly grabbed the silicone mold that I had and thought we might be able to make bath crayons. We took wads of little soap clusters and added food coloring.

At this point I had no idea if this was going to work but I really had nothing to lose. It was entertaining him and it was good clean fun. HA! Did you see what I did there. Oh Lordy. 

He packed the colored soap into the molds. We let the mold set for about two days.

They worked! I didn't get a photo of him drawing in the bathtub cuz we have a beige bathtub (I know - need a bathroom remodel) so it didn't pick up the colors too well. Needless to say my son loved it. Win Win. He had fun, he got clean. Thanks Ivory!

Now mom's turn. I tried out Avon Anew Reversalist Wrinkle Smoother next. I liked it! It isn't heavy like it feels like it would be.

It is translucent so there won't be a tint that is added to your skin

I started by rubbing it in. Then read the directions. It said don't rub it in. Whoops! Ha. You're suppose to dab it on your wrinkles. Ahhhh... I did that and it worked well. I tried taking a before and after but it was just hard to translate to the camera. The one on the left is nothing on. The one on the right is with the Avon Anew Reversalist.

You can see a little bit of difference. I noticed it more in person. It worked better on my forehead than it did in my laugh lines. But my laugh lines are pretty deep. It would take some concrete mix to make a difference there!

SO! What's next? Puffs Plus to Go of course! I love these little to go Puffs. They fit so nicely in the car, in my pocketbook, by your bed on the nightstand, anywhere! You could really have about 10 of them and be set.

One of the other things I got in the TLCVoxbox was a coupon for Breyers new Gelato flavors. Yum! I rushed right out and checked out what my local store had. Unfortunately, they only had 3 flavors. They had the Vanilla Caramel, Tiramisu and the Raspberry Cheesecake. They were missing the Triple Chocolate. That's ok. I chocolate myself out on everything else so I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake this time.

It really is delicious. I like the graham crackers on top. It's easier to dig into than ice cream. It won't bend your spoon!

The Shell gas rewards card is the only thing I haven't used yet. I generally go to Ingles for gas. They have the best prices in my part of town.

First Aid Kit with Neo-to-Go

I have been so terrible and so far behind on getting my travel first aid kit ready. When I got my Neo-to-Go in my TLCVoxbox I realized that would be the perfect start to getting my butt in gear and putting together a travel kit ready! Here's a few things that I want to throw into a cute box or bag. I love this tin swiss cross box!

I found this one on amazon that is just too cute! All the hard work is done for you!

The Influenster TLC VoxBox

I was over the moon when I found out I qualified for another Influenster VoxBox! If you have been trolling around these parts for long you might remember when I got the Rose VoxBox filled with all kinds of wonderful goodies like those cozy Dr. Scholl's inserts, chocolates, Belvita snacks - a buffet of awesome things! Well, this time it is a Voxbox that is just for mom's. A TLC Voxbox.

Life Lately...

 A little bit of what's been going on in One Girl's life lately...

I won! Back when I got my Influenster VoxBox there was a chance to win further products from the companies themselves if you completed a number of steps. I won the Kiss Nail Products package. Woohoo!

Influenster RoseVoxBox detailed reviews

I'm back with a few more detailed reviews of all the goodies I got in my RoseVoxBox from Influenster. Here is the post where I told you guys all about that jazz and how awesome being a member at Influenster is!
 

So - first off! So excited to try the Rimmel London Scandaleyes mascara and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I worked perfectly to plump up my lashes and more importantly didn't burn my eyes AND was easily washed off at the end of the day. YES.

 

Next on the list was the Dr. Scholl's Cozy Cushions for her. I added these to my favorite L.L. Bean Gumboots for some added fluff and warmth. These inserts are really easy to use and cut down to your specific size. 

Unfortunately they made my gumboots a little TOO tight. Not to worry because these inserts are easy to move from one shoe to another. I grabbed my flimsy little Minnetonka moccasins and the inserts really gave these super soft shoes some stability!

And last but not least probably the MOST fun of the samples to try was the Kiss Gradation Polishes. This manicure was SO EASY. Plus the polishes are nice just to wear on their own. Basically you get 4 polishes in one box! What a deal!

The other two products in my RoseVoxBox were the BelVita breakfast biscuits in blueberry and the Lindt Lindor Chocolate Truffles. Both were delicious!!!
